For children's meal almost  all advertisements That aired during study period were 
 Attributable to McDonald 70% or Burger King

79% of TV placements aired on just 
Four channels 1)Cartoon Network 2)
Nickelodeon 3) Disney XD
4) Nicktoons 
Whereas adult TV advertisements 
For QSR emphasized the taste Portion size
 And price of food products,

Visual Branding was more common

In children's  advertisements vs  adult

In 2006  USA QSR chains reported 

To the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) that

They spent $161 millions marketing to 2-11

Years olds.56% on TV advertisements.

Of the money QSR chains  spent

$74.4 million  ,46% went to cross-

Promotions to toe their meals

To movies , Television shows

 animation characters.


Obese children may be 

Highly susceptible to food 

Advertising.

Fast food advertising exposure

Is associated with higher fast food 

Consumption in children.

     Children's  advertisements emphasized

The street view of the restaurant which may

Help children to recognize as they drive

By with their parents.
