Godvit  a migratory Bird 

This bird faces many barriers during  migration  mountain ranges desert ice fields and oceans

We will know story of Bar tailed godwit .

Ŕ Godvit  means Limosa lapponicanve baueri

    Scientist studied the migratory behaviour  of these birds how far non stop they  travel

    Basically they require to tag their legs to identify these birds taken for study moreover they need to have know spe ed height etc during their travel  for this activity  scientist surgically implanted satellite

following is report of 7females birds godvit Bar tailed

seven females  flew non stop 8117 km-- 11680 km  ( 10153km+ minus 1043km S.D.)

directly  across the Pacific ocean 

Flight duration 6-9.4days .

These birds faced challenges no sleep no water

No stop in between.

Stopping to drink would require added energy

Expenditure to climb back to flight altitude.
