Stroke is defined as an abrupt 

Neurological outburst caused by

Impaired   perfusion through the

Blood vessels to the brain.

Stroke : Is a neurological Disorder

Characterized by blockage of blood vessels

Clots  from brain and interrupt blood flow

Clogging arteries and causing  blood vessels
To break leading to bleeding .
Stroke types ;
Ischaemic stroke common 87%are ischaemic stroke
Ischaemic stroke caused by deficient blood
And oxygen supply to brain 
Hemorrhagic stroke 13%
Is caused by bleeding or leaky blood vessels

Risk Factors

1 Age doubles over the age 55 years

2.   Hypertension

3 Coronary Artery Disease

4 Hyperlipidemia
   Total cholesterol  associated with 

   Risk of stroke
    High density Lipoprotein ( HDL)
    Decreases stroke incidence.
5  Nearly 60%  of strokes are  in patients
     with history of transient Ischaemic 
     Attack (TIA)

6 Non modifiable risk factors
    Age sex Heredity

7 Modifiable Risk factors
    Hypertension
     Alcohol
     Diabetes
      Lack of physical exercise
      Cholesterol
      Diet
  8 Tobacco Smoking is  directly linked
      
     the chance of suffering from stroke
      Of non smoker.
