HF& LVEF
Heart Failure &Left Ventricular Ejection Fraction
What is heart Heart Failure means? Heart stop functioning
For ever no. It is reduction of function
In Heart failure heart cannot pump enough blood and oxygen support
To organs in your body .
To make it simple suppose in certain examination
Passing marks required is 50% and maximum marks are
,70%
Ok so failure Heart is less than 50%
Similiar is Heart Failure story.
What is examined is LVEF means Left Ventricular Ejection Fraction
Heart is having 4 Chambers upper two called atria and lower,
Are ventricles
left ventricles pumps Blood and oxygen to different organs of the body
When blood supply and oxygen is reduced the LVEF is lower than 50%
LVEF is test reorted in 2D imaging test of heart.
Heart failure is catagarised into groups
Heart Failure catagarise
Based on LVEF
1 HF with preserved Ejection Fraction LVEF ≥50%
2 HF with improved EF LVEF ≥40%
Past LVEF ≤40
3HF with mildly reduced EF 41%-49%
4. HF with reduced EF≤40%
HF Heart Failure
LVEF Left Ventricular Ejection Fraction
EF Ejection Fraction
Patient his or her relative should know when doctor ask to get 2 D imaging Heart there also LVEF report
So what. I s the report of LVEF he should discussed with cardiologist.
